Texas Holdem Limit Preflop Fullring (part 1)  Ace of clubs Ace of spades Ace of diamonds Ace of hearts

It is possible to give many strict guidelines for Limit Holdem preflop play.

Texas Holdem Limit is less complex than NL preflop play, as the combinations are no so great and the bet sizes are limited.

A tight and aggressive preflop style is the right way to play.

Depending on the Pokertracker statistics of your opponents you can sometimes mix up your play.

But normally you are on autopilot, especially when you are multitabling

We will present you here a preflop chart which you can use to play the "correct" style.

We recommend to print it first and with some time playing it, you will memorize it automatically.

For the start you should follow the chart exactly with no execptions.

Later with some experience you can make some adjustments.

Positions

In order to use the chart, you have to know the different positions mentioned there.

The following graphics show you for tables with 7, 8, 9 or 10 players the positions.

When at your table are only 6 players (inluding you) left, you should sit out and leave the table.

The game is then shorthanded ( = 6 players or less ) which is a different type of game.
