Betfred Poker

Betfred Poker is a member of the iPoker network, wich is currently number four in the world of online poker rooms.

This means you will almost always find enough action and be able to play several tables at the same time.

Bonus:

  • 100% up to $500
  • for 500 points $10 bonus are released
  • you can earn points in cash games and tournaments (see the conditions below)

Playing cash games

Depending on the level of rake taken in a hand at your table, you will pick up the following points towards your bonus:

Rake Taken Per Hand  Points Earned Towards Your Bonus
 $0.25 - $0.50 1
 $0.51 - $1.00 3
 $1.01 - $1.50 5
 $1.51 - $2.00 6
 $2.01 - $3.00 7
 $3.01 + 8

Here are a couple of examples to show you how it works:

1. Average rake at the table you play on = $0.51 to $1.00
Number of points awarded per hand = 3
You will only need to play 167 hands to earn the first part of your bonus – in no time at all you’ll be receiving money from Betfred!

2. Average rake at the table you play on = $1.01 to $1.50
Number of points awarded per hand = 5
You may only need to play 100 hands to earn the first stage of your bonus.

3. You play on some tables where the rake is between two levels:
You play 50 hands on a table where the rake is between $2.01 and $3.00 = 350 points
You play 25 hands on a table where the rake taken is between $1.51 and $2.00 = 150 points
You only need to play a total of 75 hands at these levels to achieve 500 points and release the first $10 of your bonus.

The points vary depending on the size of the rake taken, so the higher value the pot – the more points you may earn.

Playing tournaments

For those of you that don’t play cash games, you’ll be thinking “Most sites only look after cash players, but I only play tournaments. Can I get a bonus?”

Yes you can – it’s easy!

For tournament players, the fees that you pay to enter the tournament are converted into points:

Tournament Fees  Amount of Points You Will Earn Towards Your Bonus
 Every $1 in Fees  15

To show you how this works, here are a couple of examples:

1. You play in Multi Table Tournaments and stick to $20 + $2 tournaments.

For every $1 in fees you receive 15 bonus points.

You get 30 points for every tournament, so you only need to play in 17 tournaments to release the first $10 of your bonus
($2 fees per tournament = 30 points x 17 tournaments = 510 points)

2. You play Sit ‘n’ Go games on the Betfred site, varying what you play between $5 + 50¢, $10 + $1 and $20 + $2 games.

Play 8 games @ $5 + 50¢ = 60 points (50¢ fees = 7.5 points x 8 games)
Play 14 games @ $10 + $1 = 210 points ($1 fees = 15 points x 14 games)
Play 8 games @ $20 + $2 = 240 points ($2 fees = 30 points x 8 games)

In this example, you will only need to play 30 different Sit ‘n’ Go's in order to earn the first part of your bonus.

Now there are always those of you that will say I play Sit ‘n’ Go’s, cash games and tournaments, so how can I qualify?

Again – this is simple. Simply mix and match your game play and pick up points every time. Look at the following example to see just how easy it is:

You play at a cash table where 20 hands take place with a rake between $1.51 and $2.00.
This gives you 6 points per hand = 120 points
You play at a cash table where 20 hands take place with a rake between $2.01 and $3.00.
This gives you 7 points per hand = 140 points
You play 10 x $10 + $1 Sit ‘n’ Go’s = 150 points ($1 = 15 points x 10 Sit ‘n’ Go’s)
You play 3 x $20 + $2 Multi Table Tournament = 90 points ($2 = 30 points x 3 MTQ’s)

In this example, to release the first part of your bonus you only had to do the following:

Play at a cash table for 40 hands where the rake was taken
Play in 10 Sit ‘n’ Go games
Play in 3 Multi Table Tournaments

It’s so simple and easy to earn – it’s probably the easiest poker bonus to earn in the world!
